WFL67220FA-QCS product is designed for OLT module based on XGPON and GPON technology. The product is an integrated module containing micro-optic component and semiconductor material. The module could implement DDM function. It could be used at key locations in optical networks
The Combo PON OLT SFP+ transceiver connects to the host system via a 2 x 10 SFP+ electrical interface, a 20-pin arrangement that aligns with the standard SFP+ cage on the OLT line card. This interface includes differential transmitter and receiver pairs for high-speed serial data, alongside control and monitoring pins like the I2C clock/data lines and module status indicators. This 2 x 10 pinout ensures that when the module is inserted, all power, ground, data, and management connections are established automatically, enabling true plug-and-play operation.
The Combo PON OLT SFP+ module supports single-fiber bidirectional transmission, allowing both legacy and next-generation PON services to share the same fiber infrastructure. Its integrated micro-optics WDM filter combines and separates four distinct wavelengths-1490nm and 1577nm for downstream, 1270nm and 1310nm for upstream-within the compact SFP+ package. This internal WDM integration reduces external cabling, minimizes signal loss, and simplifies ODN planning.
The module requires a single 3.3V power source, which is readily available from the SFP+ cage on the host OLT line card, eliminating the need for any external power connections. When properly inserted, the 3.3V supply is automatically applied to the module through pins 15 and 16 of the 2 x 10 electrical interface. This standard power requirement ensures that the module can be safely installed in any SFP+ slot without risk of voltage mismatch or damage to the host equipment.
The Combo PON OLT SFP+ module features SFF-8472 compliant digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM), providing full visibility into its operational status. Key parameters including transmit/receive optical power, laser bias current, temperature, and voltage are all accessible via the standard I2C interface. This SFF-8472 compliance guarantees compatibility with industry-standard management tools, simplifying network integration and maintenance.
