Fiber GPON Router

Our fiber GPON modem Stick is a state-of-the-art, pluggable optical network unit designed to bridge carrier-grade fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) connectivity directly into a standard SFP port. It enables fiber network termination for CPE devices like routers, switches, or media converters, transforming them into high-performance ONU endpoints with minimal footprint and maximum flexibility.

The fiber GPON modem Stick eliminates the need for a bulky external modem (ONT). By plugging directly into the SFP port of a compatible router, switch, or firewall, it frees up desk space, reduces cable clutter, and creates a cleaner, more professional network setup.

For Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and large-scale deployments, this technology significantly lowers Capital Expenditure. The fiber GPON modem Stick removes the requirement to purchase and ship separate power adapters and large ONT enclosures for every customer, streamlining logistics and hardware costs.

Unlike traditional standalone ONTs which require a separate power adapter, the fiber GPON modem Stick draws power directly from the host device via the SFP slot. This reduces the number of plugs needed and provides a degree of protection against local power outages if the host device is on a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).

Despite its compact size, it delivers full GPON speeds (typically up to 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream). By integrating the optics and the ONU electronics into a single module, the fiber GPON modem Stick maintains low latency and reliable performance suitable for VoIP, IPTV, and high-speed data services.
