As a crucial device for extending wireless network coverage, the stable operation of a Wi-Fi repeater relies on proper maintenance and care.

Ventilation and Heat Dissipation: Avoid placing the repeater in enclosed spaces (such as low-voltage distribution boxes), near heat sources (such as air conditioners or heaters), or in direct sunlight. Ensure a clearance of at least 5 cm around the device to facilitate proper airflow.

Keep Away from Interference Sources:** Position the device away from high-power or high-frequency electronic equipment-such as microwave ovens, refrigerators, cordless phones, and Bluetooth devices-to minimize electromagnetic interference.

Optimal Placement: Ideally, place the repeater in a central location within the intended coverage area, and ensure it is not obstructed by metal objects, thick walls, or large pieces of furniture.

Cleaning (with Power Off): Once a month, use a soft-bristled brush or a hairdryer (set to the cool air mode) to clear dust from the ventilation ports, antenna crevices, and interface ports; this prevents dust accumulation from hindering heat dissipation.

Avoid Exposure to Liquids and Dust: Do not use the device in humid, dusty, or oily environments, as this could lead to corrosion or short circuits within the internal circuitry.

Handle Ports Gently: Avoid applying excessive force when plugging in or unplugging network cables or power cords to prevent the ports from becoming loose or damaged.
